On April 19, 1941, four alcoholics gathered in Room 522 of the New Washington Hotel which was recognized as the first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Washington State.

Celebrate our statewide 85th anniversary with us this Spring on April 18th, 2026. (Location TBD)

We are heading up a few fundraising activities.

The first one is to raise money by suggesting $1.00/year of sobriety. This contribution will place your name, home group, sobriety date, District and Area into a leather-bound registry that will live in Archives (72 and 92 respectively).

If you would like to contribute to this event by adding your information into the Commemorative Book you can do so by clicking here.

Registration for this event will be coming soon.

Another way we are hoping to raise funds is by the creation of an “Orange Can” that can be taken to events, home groups, District meetings, etc. Monies collected can be taken to your respective Intergroup or Central Office for deposit.
